Scope of Work: FE was the Design-Builder for the performance optimization of the water treatment
facility. The project consisted of the design and installation of a WEDECO UV
disinfection system, the rehabilitation of 8 conventional filter basins, including installation of new filter media, replacement of mechanical equipment and upgrades to the electrical controls of the plant. FE performed pilot testing of the new media. FE’s responsibilities also included obtaining permit approvals from State agencies.

FE was the Design-Builder for this project, which included the evaluation and selection of media and suppliers. FE completed the design of the Arsenic Treatment System in two months for submittal to ADEQ. This included the development of preliminary design report, site survey, design drawings, final design report, construction scheduling, equipment selection, and underground investigations. FE submitted the design to ADEQ and received the Approval to Construct in two weeks. Upon construction completion, FE
performed start-up and commissioning and obtained the Approval of Construction from ADEQ. During the project additional system enhancements were requested and
completed.

Fredonia Culinary Water Project

Scope of Work:
Fann Environmental was subcontracted by Johansen Construction to provide installation services for the arsenic treatment system facility. This facility was one part of a larger project that consisted of replacing the entire City of Fredonia's water distribution system. Fann Environmental installed all underground piping within the facility, coordinated with other subcontractors to maintain the construction schedule for the facility, and provided the installation of the treatment system components. Once complete, FE installed the media and provided start-up services.

Fort Defiance Water Treatment Plant Rehabilitation

Scope of Work:
Fann Environmental served as the general contractor on this project. The project included the removal of the existing treatment media, support screens, and air scour piping. Repairs were made to supports and interior vessels. New gravel, supports, stainless steel air scour piping was installs and the vessels were filled with new greensand media, conditioned, and put back online. New air solenoids were installed on the pneumatic valve actuators and the exterior of the vessels were prepped and repainted upon completion.
